Girl Scout Night at the Nashville Sounds Game

Saturday night at Greer Stadium, more than 300 Girl Scouts cheered on the Nashville Sounds baseball team as they took on their interstate rival, the Memphis Redbirds. Girl Scout troops from all over Middle Tennessee were in attendance and participated in pre-game festivities.

Some Middle Tennessee high school girls began their journey towards college this summer by participating in the Girl University and Campus Tours programs offered by Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee. These programs gave girls and parents an opportunity to visit colleges, attend workshops and talk with professionals about what to expect from the application process and the college experience ahead.

Girls in Montgomery County participated in day camp at Billy Dunlop Park hosted by Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee. The camp theme is Forever Green which aims at teaching girls the importance of taking care of the environment.
