Troop 234's Costume Collection A Success

Nolensville-based Girl Scout Daisy Troop 234 collected new or gently used Halloween costumes to give to needy kids throughout October.

By early October, the girls had collected more than 50 outfits ranging from Disney princesses to Power Rangers and super heroes

“I have even had several people call with stories of their childhood, with no money for a costume, and how they have been touched by our troop’s costume drive,” said troop leader Kim Clutsam. “A few people have even been so generous as to offer to buy new costumes for kids who might be left out.”

The girls will collected up until Friday, when they turn over the donated costumes to area shelters. There is a need for boys costumes.
