Girls Donate Thanksgiving Meals

Girl Scouts in south Cheatham County are continuing their tradition of participating in the annual Thanksgiving Box Drive for the ARK Food Pantry.

On Monday, Nov. 14, more than 100 Girl Scouts from kindergarten to high school age asked family and friends for food donations to complete a Thanksgiving meal.  Some troops even used the money made during the cookie sale to complete the "fixins" for a Thanksgiving meal.  When the boxes were counted and delivered to the ARK Food Pantry, Girl Scouts had donated 73 meals for local families.  Many thanks go out to our great group of Girl Scouts, leaders, their families and Pegram Church of Christ for making this a success.
